NORDSTROM ANNIVERSARY SALE FIRST IMPRESSIONS
the nordstrom anniversary sale is opening for all card holders saturday july 9 (public july 15) and I wanted to round up a few products that I found just through browsing online – here are my nordstrom anniversary sale first impressions
I always like to grab some denim, boots and any wardrobe staples I know Iβll wear over and over again.
shopping the sale can feel overwhelming
here are a few quick tips β¦
stick to your budget
buy what you want – my personal experience is that some items arenβt the best fit or feel different but I loved them online, and some items that I didnβt notice or love online end up being my fvorites soooooo I buy a lot in the beginning and narrow down my picks to keep the loves and return what doesnβt work out
(some items do sell out and donβt restock, some might come back and go on sale again in the fall months) I typically wait on some things that I donβt totally need until fall and if I can shop them then, cool if theyβre gone – oh well.
questions to ask yourself
even though itβs on βsaleβ – ask βis this still a good deal for the quality/what it is?β
am I buying because itβs popular or because I truly love it?
in past years, Iβve shopped and bought things that werenβt worth the price tag and some items werenβt my style but they were so popular and I didnt want to miss out, but Iβve hardly worn them .. lesson learned only keep the best deals for the things YOU love.

denim
if you’re in the market for new jeans, I definitely recommend checking out this sale it’s a great time to shop quality brands and get some deals! I’ve got my eye on this pair and this one!
dresses
there are often pretty dresses in this sale and I’ve got this versatile one in my cart! I love that I can wear it for summer with sandals, and pair it with cute boots in the fall!
accessories
I typically don’t go wild over accessories but this year there are some great finds! this necklace is similar to one I own and love, and of course I always go for a statement earring! a neutral hat is fabulous for any fall outfit and I definitely am struggling to decide between this bag and this one – they’re both so cute!
boots
I’ve been loving the western boot trend and this style comes in lots of colors. I’m also a major fan of this bootie (bought it last year and wore them all the time!) this style is popular and this one is a great price!
lounge
I love cute pj sets! if there is anything that makes me feel like I have my life together – it’s a matching pj set! I love the stripe here and this print is too cute!
tops
graphic tees are a major part of my wardrobe and I love the cute options this year – I also love a solid and this Madewell tee comes in more colors!
shoes
I bought a pair of white sneakers at Old Navy a few years ago and I’ve worn them so much so I think it’s time I upgrade – I love the Converse and this cute pair!
sweaters
I already own a lot of basic sweaters and I personally don’t love wearing thick sweaters so I linked up a few other options, this stripe is especially cute and comes in a coral too!
outerwear
outerwear is tough to see online, I am picky with textures so I’ll be checking these out in person but what I did share I think are super cute – I love shackets and already own a couple, this plaid is adorable!
heels
pink and nude are definitely the stars here today but all these heels come in multiple colors (black, brown, etc) so don’t get scared by the bright shades – I’m loving this pair and this one!
