3 ways to style a matching loungewear set for summer

I’m sharing 3 ways to style a matching loungewear set for summer!

I love finding those good top/bottom set outfits .. you know the ones that you can wear together and be totally cute but can also wear the pieces separate and you’d never know it was meant to be a set?

OUTFIT 1 :

THE TOP : I went for a simple look styling this top, white jeans and my go-to denim jacket make this outfit effortless and cool. great for most casual occasions!

this cute babe of mine wanted to be held! I can’t believe she’s 1 and a half!

a printed headband and sandals were the perfect accessories for styling a casual solid tee – I’m ALL about fun hair scarves/clips see a few other hair style ideas in this post.

OUTFIT 2

THE PANTS : these flowy pants are definitely out of my typical style uniform, but they give me major boho vibes so I wanted to run with that in this look. I chose a beautiful yellow top and espadrille platform shoes to play with the earthy/desert hues and I couldn’t love this more! my backpack linked here

I usually like to wear something more fitted if I’m wearing a loose fitting pant/skirt but I really liked this top untucked and the blousy look of it all adds to the boho feeling I was going for

OUTFIT 3

THE SET : I’ve been wanting a matching sweat set / lounge outfit set for a while and honestly hadn’t found anything that I LOVED. everything had cropped tops or didn’t flatter my body. I am SO happy to have found this set at Emi and Kay! it’s the cutest rose color and the fit is PERFECT.

the top is flattering and long that if you wanted to tie it – you could or tuck it in, or just wear it long. the pants are a tad high waisted which I think is so cute. I can feel confident wearing these at home or out of the house too – which is MAJORLY awesome!

matching sets in this silhouette are a little tricky to find, but below are a few things I’ve seen online that would give this cute effect – here is my exact set

I styled it up with white sneakers and a matching rose colored bag to go with the monochromatic feel. I am obsessing over things that match lately so this was fun to put together.

here are my sneakers, also loving these and just bought these (the color is so cute, and perfect for fall!)

my cute girls wanted to do a few photos with me too, so that was extra fun!

I hope you enjoyed this post ‘3 ways to style a matching set’, I know I did. I love sharing how to wear things in your wardrobe in new and different ways. it’s important to me that I get a lot of use out of what I buy/wear and so these ‘ways to wear it’ posts are a lot of fun!

what should I style next?
