ways to wear it .. floral blouse + 3 hair accessories

I love when I style one piece in multiple ways in my ‘ways to wear it’ series, and I haven’t done one of these posts in a hot minute so I am sharing today how to style a floral blouse + 3 hair accessories.

I’m really into fun hair accessories lately and @shopandi_ has a bunch of cute ones – use code Jensyn20 for a discount there! my hair is growing out from my haircut back in December of 2019, and I’ve just been trying new styles and playing with clips, scrunchies, and headbands. what’s your favorite?

look 1 – skirt + scrunchie

this first look features a stripe skirt (similar here) and playing with the yellow of the floral blouse in my sandals and scrunchie. I am LIVING for this look!

I’m a major fan of print mixing and you all know how much I LOVE a stripe and floral print together .. ‘stripes in bloom’ get it lol. so this outfit miiiiight be the winner for my as far as favorites go.

these yellow flowers in my parents’ garden seriously bring me so much joy and the color was PERFECT with my shoes. I can’t get enough yellow in my life these days. I think it’s just such a happy color and I think we can agree that 2020 has made us extremely grateful for the happy in our days.

my top is asos and also found in my recent haul post here .. my skirt is a few seasons old from Rachel Parcell but I adore it. the ruffles and the classic blue stripe make this a piece that I don’t think I could ever part with. my heels are an awesome find from Old Navy last summer. my earrings are Kendra Scott and my scrunchie is @shopandi_ linked here (use Jensyn20)

look 2 – jeans + headband

how much floral is too much? asking for a friend.

no matter if you’ve been around for years or a week, if you know me you know that I just can’t quit the flower obsession. and I have the best time coming up with outfits that revolve around them. hah!

I did style an adorable stripe headband with my head to toe floral ensemble and I think it adds the perfect touch.

summer is definitely my favorite season, I love all the bold colors and pretty plants. I’ll be sad when it’s over this year. I have a dahlia in my garden that is SO pretty right now! it blooms every year and each year it comes back bigger, more full and vibrant. I need to take a lesson from that beautiful plant.

it never fails, but every time I wear these jeans I get questions on them and I’m so sorry to say that they are old and no longer available. I haven’t found embroidered floral jeans like these in a while but I’ll try to find some similar pairs.

I wear them non stop because they’re the cutest fit. they are high waisted, a bit like the girlfriend style where they’re tight on the tush and looser in the leg and tight again by the ankles.

my espadrilles, Soludos I’ve also had for a few years and I love them, perfect summer shoe! I linked a few similar pairs above

look 3 – wide leg crop pants + pearl clip

the last of today’s ways to wear it post features the prettiest wide leg pants. I think these are so fun to style up. I love how the pull the golden yellow in the blouse – making this outfit a great look as we head into fall.

I’m only about 5’2 so I paired block heels in cognac to bring the look together. I love neutral shoes like this because they have some weight to them and they make a statement without being crazy lol

I love the fun hair clips and pins that are on trend these days. I linked a few below that are seriously SO CUTE! they’re the easiest way to add an extra little something to a simple hairstyle (clip linked here use code Jensyn20)

I miss dressing up and going places, when I put together these posts I typically wear the looks just for pictures so yesterday was funny when I actually wore these pants and my husband came home .. he was like ‘are we doing pictures tonight or something? why’re you dressed up?’ lol

like I mentioned, I absolutely LOVE doing these ‘ways to wear it’ posts, showcasing how to wear something in your closet in multiple ways. I’ve definitely become more conscious of my spending in the past few years and only buy/keep what I know I will reach for over and over again.

I want you to feel like you have options and that the outfit combinations are endless. I know I’ll be styling this blouse more because I truly love it that much. that’s my goal – to be able to look in my wardrobe and see only what I love and want to reach for every single day.

cute things I’m loving lately ..

thanks for stopping by!

xo, Jensyn
