2 faux leather looks for Valentine’s Day

I’ll start off by saying that these 2 faux leather looks for Valentine’s Day are wearable and practical for the weather we’ve been having around here and I’m super excited to share these looks with you!

I actually took these pictures at the beginning of January and had plans to share well in advance of February 14th, but here we are and I’m just grateful these pictures and this post are finally happening lol.

I don’t always reach for leather looking things, but when I do … THIS happens.

outfit 1

leather, leopard and a pop of pink

this winter has been SO crazy. we hardly had any snow storms this December and January, but here we are the first few days of February and got inches and inches! so I did take these photos a few weeks back on a snowy day but with the weather it seems appropriate to share!

I’ve always been a lover of mixing prints and adding a bright pop of color and so a little leopard and plaid is the magical combination here!

my scarf I got as a gift years ago from my husband, and while I don’t wear scarves very often, I don’t think I’ll ever get rid of this one. it’s a Burberry scarf which if you’ve followed me for a while, is my favorite designer brand and one day lol I’ll totally own one of their trench coats (praying this is my year!)

the faux leather pants I’m wearing have been on MAJOR repeat. I keep gravitating towards them which is unlike me to reach for black so much, but hey, I like them and they fit awesome. I’ll be sharing similar ones below.

get the look …

I linked my exact leopard top (I’m wearing a medium and also own it in tan, it’s the cutest!)

outfit 2

the moto and a red dress

going through my coat closet, selecting a jacket for this look was fun. I had a few other coats in mind for this look but I chose the moto jacket in black faux leather. I’m so happy I did. I am loving color blocking lately and playing with colors together, so the red dress and pink bag are festive and bright and the black moto jacket just pulls it all together and gives such an edge that I love.

here are a bunch of beautiful red dresses

I found this Rachel Parcell dress on sale a couple seasons ago and it’s been my favorite to wear for holidays (seen here). I love having a statement dress like this in my wardrobe. it’s not one I reach for all the time, BUT I do think I have amazing use of it and I LOVE it so much! this one is VERY similar and I’m loving this option for $23!

Nash and I don’t have any plans for Valentine’s Day this year yet. I do know I want to put together little gift baskets for my girls and so I’ll probably make one for him too. we’ve been careful about how we’ve been spending money this year and so I know we won’t go too crazy. he’s good about doing things around the house, watching the girls so I can get out of the house and we spend time together. I feel we celebrate our love often – which I’m so grateful for.

did you know he and I actually got engaged Febuary 18th?! I’ll have to share our engagement story another time, it’s pretty special. here we are celebrating our 8 year engagement anniversary! I can’t believe it’s been that long!

get the look .. similar heels, jacket, bag
