fall family night .. pumpkin picking

this post is in collaboration with My Sister’s Closet Boutique

as a new tradition we went out for a fall family night to go pumpkin picking at one of the local pumpkin patches! now that the girls are getting older, it’s been fun to try more things and go to places!

unfortunately we didn’t stay very long because of nasty mosquitos but we did grab a few pumpkins for our front porch that the girls will paint as we get closer to Halloween!

do you carve or paint pumpkins at your house??

if you’re looking for some fun fall activities check out my post here featuring a printable bucket list FULL of good things to do, eat and wear that embrace the fall season!

if you follow along on my instagram @jensynjeppsen you may have noticed in my stories that I unboxed this adorable sweater from My Sister’s Closet Boutique and started a poll about if I should wear this striped top to a pumpkin patch! the love was overwhelming in response towards this top – so now you can snatch it up for yourself before it sells out!

Indie was so funny the night we went pumpkin picking, she wasn’t too interested in sitting still for a picture (when is she though?! haha) and wanted to be the one to pull the cart around holding the pumpkins. I love how helpful she is and wants to be.

girls’ outfits …

their little pink denim jackets are pink boots are my favorite things ever. we don’t always buy them matching things, but we knew we had to invest in some outerwear and shoes for the new fall season (the girls grow so fast!) and so we got the jackets a little on the bigger side (to hopefully last through next year too). but I really wish I had their shoes in my size – they’re so adorable and also come in black!

we hope you’re having a fun October! and can enjoy the fall festivities! since my mom is Canadian we will be celebrating Thanksgiving early this weekend (in honor of it being on Monday)! when do you celebrate Thanksgiving?

thanks for joining in on our fall family night of pumpkin picking!

xo, Jensyn
