I’m -not- an expert when it comes to organization, in fact, while we’re in between houses right now, I’m kind of the opposite 😉 my sweet mom has allowed me into her closet to share with you how she’s created a beautiful organized space
I like order, I like cleanliness and I also like things on display 😉 so this is definitely a balance. I will take more opportunities to show closet space, as well as more home and DIY things as my husband and I move into our own home down the road.
thank you to a dear friend who requested this post 🙂
fold pants and sweaters, they take up space hanging up and look neat folded up
this jewelry chest is beautiful and looks great on a shelf and keeps everything in it’s place
using baskets makes things pretty and hidden, baskets are great for socks, gym clothing, and swimwear
here’s an easy DIY for scarf hanging. I’ll link a tutorial here, or use shower hooks (as seen above)
finding a way to hang necklaces can be tricky, this organizer has a flip side full of small pouches and pockets, excellent for earrings or small bracelets
I organize my tops by color, I go in a rainbow, and go from black to gray to white to neutrals (those are hidden on the right side)
… my mom uses the no slip hangers … they’re amazing and take up WAY less space! similar here …
I know it isn’t the most glamorous, and the lighting is horrid, but here it is folks 😉 this is how my shoes are organized until I have an actual “shoe closet section” .. lately I’ve been keeping my shoe boxes because obviously, like you can see above, I can use them to stack on top of each other.
above are a few things I saw at Walmart 😉 they’re inexpensive and help out a lot in organizing!
thank you so much for stopping by 🙂
I hope you found this informative and useful!
let me know if you’ll use any of these tips! 🙂
