floral tank Bohme, old, love this and this // scarf Charming Charlie, love this // heels Kate Spade // purse Grace Adele (on sale!!) // watch Fossil // bracelet Grace Adele // cardigan J.Crew, same fit // jeans Flying Monkey via Bohme, similar
this look is what I wore when I used my cute Roxie bag by Grace Adele 🙂 nothing like pops of pink and green to make it feel like summer time!! ( that bottom picture gets me every time I see it … raise your hand if you do this?! flip flops first people! ) haha! it’s nearly impossible to walk across grass or drive while wearing heels for me.
I’m in love with this look and I wanted to show you know how to mix prints that are technically the same print ( florals with florals ) ( stripes with stripes ) etc.
the key is to look for colors that blend well together, in this case both floral prints have shades of deep corals and pinks and greens.. so win win! they have a contrast in background colors ( this way they don’t get lost together ) the dark navy background on the scarf allows the print to pop because the top has a white background, they’re opposites. another thing is scale .. the scarf has a floral print that is slightly smaller than the print of flowers on the top.
like I said I love this look and will definitely be wearing it come my next “date night” with my man 🙂
let me know if you try this 🙂 I love hearing about what you come up with!!
thanks for reading!!
