.simple date night.

getting dressed doesn’t sound fun these days 😉 I’m 34 weeks today and feeling every bit of it. my body is so achy this time around 😉 I think it’s the fact my toddler loves being held 24/7 and I’m not sleeping well either. my husband has started back into school and we’re on a whole new schedule lately. I still want us to have some fun when we can and last week I wore this look out to dinner, we took Navi with us 😉 because family date nights are sometimes the only date nights we get.

on days when I can I like carrying a smaller bag, I honestly never was a huge purse loving gal. I’d rather just carry the essentials, my wallet, phone, lipstick, gum maybe??? I was never the girl that people joked had a ‘mary poppins’ bag 😉 so when we’re out and about and I don’t necessarily need the diaper bag I love bringing along a cute bag. I also realize this will be changing in about a month 😉 so I’m enjoying carrying a little purse while I can!

my top is a boutique find (linked more pretty tops below) and can you believe my sunglasses are only $5! shocker I know because they look identical to my Ray Bans (which were way more than just $5 😉 what a fabulous find these gems were!) the shade I’m wearing on my lips is ‘caramel apple’ and it is a lipsense color, if you haven’t tried it yet – send me a message 🙂 my account is @stripesandlipstick on instagram and facebook and believe if your lipstick smudges then you’re wearing the wrong kind 😉
