.favorite outfits of 2015.

I did a post like this last year where I shared a bunch of my favorite posts from throughout the year :) it's a fun reminder for myself as to how my style has evolved and helps me remember all the fun things I've done and talked about. this year held some major changes to the Jeppsen fam ;) I announced in April that we were expecting our first baby girl and in September she was born. :) I enjoy sharing my style - this year was a tough one as I was busy with work and trying to keep my pregnancy a secret in the beginning definitely was a challenge so some months the posts came few and far between, but I want to say THANK YOU for following along and supporting me :)

you're the best! may 2016 bring many new and exciting things!

.casual red sweater.

Hollister sweater (I'm in an XS) // Abercrombie denim (I'm in a 26 short) // Franco Sarto booties // Billabong hat via Bohme

this look I wore on Monday out to dinner with my family, I like to be comfortable and usually casual because with Navi I never know how much walking around we'll do and I can pretty much bet that she'll drool ;) she's 4 months on the 1st of January and we think she's getting to the point that she'll start teething because of all the drool! I have some fun posts coming up that involve our sweet girl so be watching ;)

since having Navi I have been wanting new jeans because I only had my jeans I wore during my pregnancy (they're not maternity but I did buy them a few sizes big) and my pre pregnancy jeans don't fit my new hips ;) lol so here I am in NEW JEANS! and it's my favorite thing!! :) they seriously changed the way I feel about my new shape, they're flattering and I bought the 'short' size to fit my short legs :) great fitting jeans are a must have for my confidence! what's the one thing that you wear that totally changes your attitude about your look??

thank you for reading!

.making the season bright.

kate spade heels // flying monkey denim via bohme // lc for kohl's sweater, old // burberry scarf

if you haven't noticed by my last few posts, I'm obsessed with this scarf and this sweater ;) they're so perfect for this time of year and I love the neutral colors and how well they pair with anything and everything! this look I wore to my work Christmas party over the weekend. I knew it'd be a more casual dinner so I went for a comfy but adorable sweater, it has a slight crop so high waisted skinny denim was the perfect compliment! I love mixing prints ;) you all should know by now that I do, and so the plaid with the polka dots was a must do! adding the bright pop of pink at my feet was a no brainer to an otherwise pretty plain palette :)

I hope you're all enjoying your Christmas parties and this fun holiday season! :)
I have been busy decorating cookies the past couple days, I seriously forget how much I love sugar cookies!! they're going to become a monthly signature around my house ;) which is probably not the best idea - but we're doing it anyway!

thank you for stopping over! happy Christmas eve eve!

.green for the holiday.

lularoe dress // diy heels // burberry scarf

today's look is what I wore this past weekend for the sunday before Christmas! :) now I enjoy getting festive and dressed up, but I realized that I don't own hardly anything sparkly, red or gold. I had to switch things up a bit and go for a printed green midi dress with teal heels (that I embellished myself, tutorial here) and to mix it all up added a plaid scarf in a neutral color.

I'm SO excited for Christmas this year!! Nash and I will be celebrating Navi's first Christmas, and even though she's so young she won't remember it, we will. and believe me, there's going to be a lot of pictures ;) I love this time of year, and the sunday before Christmas is full of beautiful music and everyone is just in the best mood! the spirit is near and I just love it. this year the holidays have crept up on me and I haven't felt totally in the moment like previous years. I'm super busy and so it's great ot have special days like I had this past sunday to relax and focus on what this great time of year is really all about :)

thanks for reading!
