.festive for the fourth – two looks.

I am almost (as in two days away) from being 30 weeks pregnant! and as if the summer wasn’t a hot time already … 😉 I’m so hot haha so this year for the 4th I put together a couple of outfits that I thought would be breezy and perfect for the transition into the night as fireworks are up for display 🙂 

I haven’t really purchased any new clothes this year except for a few dresses and new shorts back in April. I’ve been trying to really reuse and think of new ways to wear clothes that I’ve had in my closet. so I don’t have any exact links but I did try to link very similar products to recreate these looks 🙂 

I love the deep burgundy red with the patterned blue top tied around the waist. The darker denim also keeps this outfit dressy, along with sophisticated sandals (not flip flops 😉 and the chains in my bag and necklace add to that sophisticated look. 

I don’t wear red lips often but when I do .. I tend to match my purse 😉 I love that this outfit is all white and blue except for that small pop of red from my lipstick and bag. This is a great and easy way to be festive without going overboard. I layered a loose (almost crop top) tee over my dress to give the appearance that it’s a skirt and trust me, it’s not going to be as hot as a cardigan 😉
