.my spring 'it' bag.

pastel dreaming.

blouse // jeans // earrings // watch // lipstick // purse // espadrilles

I love statement bags and this adorable one from Kate Spade has my heart :) it's SO fun and perfect for 'girlifying' any look (that's a word now) ;) you know if you've followed for a while that I love prints! and mixing prints and colors together, I also love florals and handbags ;) so this fun purse just fits right in here with me. ;)

I'll link below more bags that I'm loving this year :) and don't get me started on the espadrille flats either .. I want like every color! oh! and please note the beautiful watch by Fossil. mm. they nail everything. I love it! totally on my wishlist ;)

I hope you have a wonderful week! (it's SOOOO windy here) and pictures didn't happen this weekend, I'm hoping to have a youtube video or two up later this week. what would you guys like to see? :)

.checked in black & white.

checked blouse c/o Hope Avenue // VS Pink leggings // Fossil watch // Franco Sarto boots // Target sunglasses, similar // Kohl's faux leather jacket // Grace Adele bag

today's look is one of my favorites this week, I just love the bright bold lip color paired with an all black and white look. I love that this look is appropriate for right now, but it'll also transition well into the spring months. by swapping out the leggings for denim and my boots for heels or open toe booties and a ligher weight jacket.

I have loved sharing a few of my favs from Hope Avenue this week! go check them out! :) they're prices rock, and their style is totally cute!! there's something for everyone there.

thanks for stopping by! have a safe weekend!

.boho blouse.

patterned blouse c/o Hope Avenue // Hollister denim, old // J.Crew loafers, similar // Grace Adele clutch, no longer available // Fossil watch

I usually dress pretty preppy and tend to buy things that are very structured (even in patterns, such as checks or stripes) so a patchwork, medallion printed blouse in multiple colors is something totally new and I LOVE IT! :) I am always trying to incorporate different styles into my wardrobe, and honestly, it can be so tough. I like what I like and I know what I'll wear so it can be hard to branch out, but this top was worth it! It has the perfect summer vibe that I can see styled into fall as well. the colors are so fun and bright yet neutral enough that I don't feel -too- bold. I love the mix of this fun top and my orange suede loafers with distressed denim. just my level of boho that I like ;)

thanks for stopping by!

.fade to black.

I'm in love with black and burgundy together :) and I thought what better than a mostly all black outfit with a fun pop of color!! I do not gravitate towards black and white prints normally but the past few months black and whites with bright color pops have been my GO-TO's! when I saw this tee, I knew I had to have it .. it's SO SOFT. I know yesterday I claimed that shirt was soft, but this one is too. ;) and a girl can never have too many soft shirts. I love that the neckline is higher too, so I don't have to layer that much. (I despise layering! ;) *monkey covering eyes emoji* ) so anything I can find that doesn't require another layer has saved my day! and I'm sold. :)

I could easily tuck the front of my shirt into jeans, wear it with a pencil skirt or throw it on with shorts and a fun bright necklace for summer .. ah! I can see SO many options for this top :) I shared a post (here) about ways to wear a striped tee .. go check it out and let me know your favorite ways :) or leave below in the comments your favorite way to style a striped tee.

thank you guys for reading! have a fun wednesday!

.blush tones.

loose tee c/o Hope Avenue (search on Instagram 'hope avenue' or 'hope.ave') // blazer, old via Kohl's // Flying Monkey denim (brand also found at Hope Avenue) // Sole Society heels

this week I've got a look each day featuring an item from Hope Avenue (which was Lemon Ice). they're a new boutique styled store where cute pieces are available at amazing prices! I was seriously in shock at everything I bought compared to what I paid :) :) I was basically stealing ;)

this loose tee is long sleeved yet sheer enough that I can see myself wearing it so many different ways all through spring and of course I'm absolutely in love with blush pink! it's so soft and feminine and is honestly such a beautiful, yet statement making color. simply pairing this tee with a blazer, skinny jeans and nude heels makes for an easy out the door date night look .. jazz it up with some extra sparkle in a necklace or earrings with your hair pulled up and you'd be set for a glam night out!

thank you so much for reading!
especially since I've been a tad -m.i.a.- ;)

.maxed out.

J.Crew Factory cardigan, old // Bohme maxi skirt, old // Kohl's tank top, old // Anthropologie sandals, last year // Target sunglasses

hey everyone! long time no post right??

I've been SO busy and have absolutely not been home any day to take pictures. when I get up to leave for work .. it's dark, when I get home from work .. it's dark. so these pictures are from Sunday ;) I've been feeling a bit overwhelmed with working, and getting moved in to the new house and just trying to balance everything. I've never worked full time before (I've always just done part time) so having a full load is different for me and it's taking adjusting. I'm feeling maxed out!! ;) SO! this weekend my boss gave me saturday and sunday off .. not because I asked :) but because she wanted to. so I'm going to soak it up! because it's Valentine's tomorrow and I need some time with my special guy.

thanks for reading! have a fun weekend!

.lip favorites.

today's post is so fun for me because I am just obsessed with lip products! this video is a is a bit of a review and a flashback at a video I did about 8 months ago :) I wanted to share a few of my absolute go - to products .. tried and true, these are hands down my favs of what I own. it's a tad long ;) to watch 15 minutes worth of lip colors ... however! if you're in the market for some hopefully you won't have to look any farther :) I narrowed down my picks from categories .. 'nude pinks', 'barbie pinks', 'dark pinks' and 'reds'. there is something for everyone here :) and especially since Valentine's Day is around the corner .. Pink and Red are on the brain! (these shades also won't break the bank! ALL can be found at either a drugstore, Ulta or places like Target and Walmart!) Enjoy!!

ps. I'm not sure why, but I totally don't have a stitch of makeup on, I chose to do my makeup after I filmed this video and I don't know why I didn't just do it before ;) oops!

.the (almost) spring transition.

H&M denim jacket // Burberry scarf // Bohme tee // Hollister jeans // Payless booties // Target sunglasses // 'babydoll' lip color // Fossil watch // beanie c/o my friend @ Originally Raw

it's no surprise that I have another gray and black look today, I feel like my outfits this season have consisted mostly of these shades. however to freshen it up, and bring some lightness to this look, I incorporated my denim jacket and my tee shirt that has floral embroidery :) here in Utah we've had some what cold weather, wind, but mostly inversion and yuck in the air!

so my beanie was handmade by Raney from Originally Raw, she is so creative and this beanie is so soft. I wore it slouchy to the back of my head, but you could easily style it more forwards. check out her etsy and instagram accounts for more inspiration and the fun things she sells :) I'm loving her cowl neck scarves (cause of course, I'm a scarf addict .. seriously it's getting as bad as my lipstick collection) and while we have chilly weather for a bit longer - it's the perfect time to wear them!

thank you so much for reading!
