.evening walks.

sweater, more colors here, J.Crew | jeans, Hollister | necklace, Grace Adele | shoes, Yosi Samra, patent,  basket weave, metallic | watch, Fossil

my little family has been able to spend some quality family time in Utah :) and we couldn't be more happy about it! We -finally- can go on walks ... the weather has been a fun mixture of rainy days and warmer nights and Berlin has -loved- like absolutely loved it!

this outfit is simple, casual and just how I like it ;) pops of color with fabulous neutrals. this sweater is so light and airy, I'm obsessed! and these flats are foldable so they can fit neatly in a shoe bag and can be thrown in a purse or in a car if you know that by the end of a day in heels, these flats are a must!

I'm way excited that these shoes are on a spring sale until tonight at midnight!! :) check out yosisamra.com

thanks so much for reading! have a great day!

.windy.

sweatshirt, VS Pink | chambray, Hollister, similar | jeans, Flying Monkey via Bohme | booties, Boutique 9 | bag, Grace Adele | clutch, Grace Adele | flower clip, Grace Adele | earrings, LC via Kohl's | sunglasses, Ray Bans

last week when these pictures were taken, we had the worst winds! and so did the rest of the country! I don't know what is with the weather this past year, but it's got me worried. I wore this outfit because I didn't want to wear a coat (can you blame me?) so layering a light sweatshirt over a simple chambray top was my solution. I love the light pop of color that it gives to an otherwise simple outfit.

I've also taken notice as to how long my hair is, I mentioned in a video earlier this week that my hair comes a couple inches past my shoulders, I realized it's more like 5 inches (in my opinion a couple and 5 are totally different ;) so I needed to clarify) :) if you've known me since before my blogging days then you'd know that I have had bobs, pixie cuts, almost every color of hair (besides rainbow shades) and have loved them all, my hair is in a stage that is fun but I need something new :) what're some fun ways to 'style' my hair?? let me know please!

thanks for reading!! have a fun friday and an even better weekend!

.mint: designer look for less.

.mint: designer look for less

I am absolutely obsessed with white pants and this outfit just screams fresh and clean so I knew I wanted to do an alternative in my "designer look for less" segments. I personally love doing these because it gives me the chance to search for the more affordable option, which my bank account, and husband really appreciate ;)

splurge : mint blouse (correction $347) | white pants | nude heels | necklace | bag

sweater J.Crew, solid version, bigger dot | v neck Hollister, similar | skirt J.Crew, same fit, peplum skirt, rose skirt, neon floral | phone case Kate Spade

"whoop there it is!" another day of patterns on prints...
what can I say, I like 'em! ;) I really wanted to show my cute phone case too ;) haha, if only I had stripes in this outfit somewhere. (my shoes were nude with pink polka dots) ;) eeh! (so cute)
I wore this outfit a couple sundays ago, I just really want spring / summer to be here already, but I certainly don't want time to go by -any- faster. It's already SO crazy that we're getting to April! say what?! .. I know.

this season's floral trend is based on big and bolder floral prints :) so go for it!
I will be linking a few of my favorites.

have an incredible Tuesday!!

floral : designer look for less

bold floral prints are really on trend this spring and what a fun way to wear the trend, in a more casual, unexpected way :) a tee shirt, paired with distressed boyfriend jeans, wedges and bold accessories. I hope you enjoyed this designer look for less :)

merry wednesday ;) and thanks for stopping by!!!
tomorrow's post is a makeup tutorial inspired by one of my ALL TIME favorite makeup youtube artists :) can you guess who it'll be?

.pink and navy ... a duo I won't refuse.

gingham top, this seasons version, J.Crew | cardigan, love this one, Hollister | vest, J.Crew | jeans, Hollister | booties, Sole Society | bracelet, (only $10.50) other colors : search Lyra, Grace Adele | black bag, Grace Adele | bag scarf, Grace Adele

one of the most troubling decisions is how to pattern mix, for some, they don't believe in mixing colors or prints but for me I'm all for it. so much so that most days it appears that I don't even match. today's outfit is a bit simpler with the color pallet and the patterns are bold yet common patterns. stripes and gingham, being the two main patterns. I recommend not mixing more than 3 prints in one look. I have the ocelot (animal print) on a bag scarf on my bag, allowing for this third print to be in the mix.

I love stripes and navy and cream act as neutrals in this look, the pink gingham pops because of it's color and the print is a lot smaller in size compared to the stripes in the vest, providing balance. I also layered my button up with a solid cardigan breaking up the patterns so they aren't laying right next to each other, this cream cardigan also brings in a common color between the two main prints.
it looks cohesive :) gray and black are neutrals so they can be interchangeably mixed in to any look

thanks for reading and I hoped this helped! be gutsy and try print mixing!
