.coral patterns.

dress J.Crew // sweater J.Crew Factory // denim jacket H&M, similar // flats Yosi Samra

today and tomorrow I'm sharing looks on how to style a summer dress for the transitional time where we head into fall. I love fall dressing but I also enjoy the fun colors of summer! so I'm combining the two! :)

I paired a sweater over my dress, making it obviously appear to be a skirt. This is a fun way to get more uses out of dresses, I layered a denim jacket over that to add dimension, to add another layer of color and texture (as well as to keep warm) ;) fall can be chilly. I chose to stay within a similar color scheme, using corals and pinks, but you could easily pair a solid sweater or another color / pattern to this look --- that's where fun print mixing comes in! :) :)

thank you so much for stopping by :)
I hope this was informative and fun! come back tomorrow for the 2nd look!

.fall florals.

.fall florals.

I've said this before and I'll say it again, it's NO secret that I love stripes ;) or florals haha!
and I especially love them together! this outfit is no exception. I'm flipping out about just how stinking cute this look is! ( I neeeeeeeed! )

I'm loving darker clothes lately, more blacks and navy mixed with brighter, lighter materials and designs. these Kate Spade heels have been on my radar for months, along with this Rebecca Minkoff bag... let's just add to the collection, shall we??? ;)

I hope you're having a wonderful day!
happy hump day!

.green and gray.

blouse Bohme (old) // jeans Hollister, similar // tote Rebecca Minkoff // sandals Anthropologie // watch Marc by Marc Jacobs // necklace Grace Adele (limited quantities $7 on sale!)

I feel so lucky and excited that my sweet husband surprised me with the two Rebecca Minkoff bags that I have in today's post and in yesterdays' post... you can find that here :)

I have wanted this tote bag for months and had only seen it online when I decided to just see if they had it in stock at my local Nordstrom. I loved holding it! It's a fantastic big size (for me this is big), it's really roomy and tall, so it can fit books, binders, notepads, I could roll up a hoodie and fit it in comfortably. I got the pale gray color and couldn't be happier with it :) I also linked below a couple more colors I'm just utterly obsessed with! I love that this bag can be used as a cross body / over the shoulder bag as well as using the top handles!

this blouse I've had for years, probably 4 years and have always loved the color of it. this is actually the top that I wore in my VERY FIRST blog picture photo shoot (those pictures never made it onto the blog) haha, but it's a great shirt :) I recommend everyone own a simple, solid blouse in a slammin' color! I know that this bold green looks good on me and makes me feel bold. What colors do you just feel great in??!!

thank you so much for reading!

( I hit over 1000 followers on instagram over the weekend! AH! I am so grateful for your continual support and love! :) I love doing what I love and I love my readers! THANK YOU! )

.a hint of mint.

dress Target, couldn't find online // heels Sole Society // bag Rebecca Minkoff, marlowe mini style // necklace Kendra Scott, found on Gilt // watch Fossil

this look I put together really quick, there's nothing I love more than neutrals with a fun pop of color! so naturally, a black and white striped print made it into this look, along with my favorite mid heels ( which are under $65 ) and can be worn with ANY outfit. seriously ANY! ... well maybe not basket ball shorts, but pretty much everything else goes ;)

I have linked down below more color options in the marlowe mini bag by Rebecca Minkoff. I looked all over online to find this minty color again, I couldn't find it anywhere! hopefully some place will restock it soon, otherwise check ebay or in store somewhere like nordstrom, saks fifth avenue, or shop bop.

on another note, what do you want to see more or less of on my blog?
videos? tutorials? outfit posts? style advice? outfit wish lists? t shirt outfits?? ;)

leave your responses below :) thanks guys!

.feelin' 22.

hat (in store) jeans, top (old) Hollister // purse Grace Adele, sold out, other styles here // sandals Anthropologie // watch Marc by Marc Jacobs // bracelet c/o Robjant Couture (use code '20jensyn' for 20% off your order on her etsy shop!)

as many of you know I turned 22 this past sunday :) it was a fun day and I don't feel any older ;)
maybe that's a good thing, I feel a lot more stressed and a lot more tired though.. haha! this can't be happening to me this early on!! anyways, my cute sister and mom picked this hat out for me and my sister has the matching one :) :) :) her most favorite number is '22' so it just fits us! I'm in absolute love with the preppy, collegiate vibe it has. I'm constantly changing up my 'vibe' as I call it. some days I'm preppy, others girly, other days casual or fancy. that's why fashion is so fun!

this top I've owned since like 9th or 10th grade ... eek! nuts huh?! I just can't seem to get rid of it, I love the fit and the color and the fact that the stripes are vertical. -- do you have any one thing you just can't let go of?? :)

thanks so much for stopping by!
have a marvelous weekend!

.gift details.

these sigma beauty makeup brushes I purchased back in march (I think) ;) and have been saving them for my birthday, tuesday was the first day I actually got these babies out of their packaging and used them... OH MY GOODNESS :) they're SO fluffy! yet stiff, yet soft, yet velvety.. seriously I couldn't have imagined them any greater. I'm in serious love with them. I purchased the exclusive kit that make up artist Jaclyn Hill compiled of all her top favorite brushes from sigma. I have them all linked down below if you'd like to check them out individually. They also offer kit options with different brushes that can be purchased for a deal.

so with it being summer time and pineapples were "all the rage" I figured I needed something for my home that would bring that fun, carefree vibe of summer into my daily life :) so even when winter comes I'll still have a pineapple chillin' on my shelf. I saw it at Joann fabrics back in May (I think) .. I'm horrible at remembering when I picked things out ;)

the Kendra Scott necklace and earrings were purchased at Gilt. Gilt is an online shop that changes their products every 3 or so days and has new deals daily on really great designers :)
I -highly- recommend that site ;)

okay, if this perfume didn't even smell good I probably would have purchased it anyways... can any of you guess why???

:) 'in bloom' and there's stripes, plus it's pink!! and luckily for me this perfume smells AMAZE-ING!
the notes are pink freesia, red apple and water lily
I'm obsessed.

I knew I wanted a black watch, because it gives such a cool, tom boy vibe
when I saw this marc by marc jacobs one I instantly knew we'd be bff's ;) inseparable.
I'm super pleased with it, other than it's a little large for my wrist but it's wearable and I'm going to just punch another hole in the band

thank you so much for reading!! links are all below :)
